A new Council means a new Council Plan, which sets out the outcomes the Council intends to achieve during its four year term and how these will be fulfilled.
Integrated with the Council Plan is the Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan, which aims to protect, improve and promote public health and wellbeing in the municipality.
Each year of the four-year plan, Council also releases the Annual Plan and Budget. This describes the details of what the City of Melbourne will deliver during the financial year, and how these activities will be funded.
As always, we want to hear from you. The Council Plan for 2017-21 and Annual Plan and Budget for 2017-18 will be released for public consideration on Friday 5 May and feedback can be provided until Friday 2 June.
